Southeast Region
Awards Banquet
AHRMA's Southeast Region will have its 2008 Awards Banquet at noon on
Saturday, January 17th at the Chateau Elan Inn in Braselton, GA.
Motocross, dirt track, cross country, and trials awards will be given
out. Cost for the buffet meal, drink (no alcohol), and tip is $25 per
person (cash). The Chateau Elan Inn is located at 100 Rue Charlemagne,
Braselton, GA 30517, 200 yards north of I-85 exit 126 on highway 211.

Malcolm Smith to be
honored at Buckeye!
The Legends Group, 2009 sponsors of the Vintage MX National Series,
are pleased to announce the honorees for the first two events of the
2009 season.
Malcolm Smith
will be honored at the season opener at Arizona Cycle Park and
Billy Liles
will be honoree for the Gainesville event. The
Legends
Group hopes to have the complete list of Legends finalized in time to
appear in the February issue of Vintage Views.(12/21/08)

Election Update
David Lamberth will be taking over as our Executive
Director on January 1st, 2009. As Executive Director, he will no longer
be eligible to serve as a trustee.
Since this circumstance occurred after the mailing
of the December Vintage Views (including the ballot with his name), any
members who may have already cast a vote for David are offered the
opportunity to cast a single replacement ballot, if they so desire. All
other election requirements remain applicable. Ballot forms are
available on the AHRMA Website, "News Flashes" page.

Road Racing, Lamberth returns as Executive Director, click here for more

Elmer Massey, Jr.
(age
59) passed away on Dec. 3, 2008. AHRMA Road Race competitors will
remember Elmer as the cordial competitor in F-750 who was always ready
to help with a smile or anything else that may have been needed. Elmer
competed in AHRMA from the mid 90s through the early 2000s. Elmer
leaves his wife, Mikki, two children, and five grandchildren. He will
be missed by all who knew him. RIP Elmer. 12/06/08

desired race type. These links are working properly and will take you to
