CLASSES

bulletSportsman: 1974 and earlier dirt trackers, divided into three classes for 0-250cc, 251-600cc and 601-750cc machines.
bulletClassic: 1967 and earlier machines. Classes include 0-250cc and 500cc OHV/ 750cc sidevalve (0-250cc and Open in TT)
bulletDinosaur: 1951 and earlier 500cc OHV and 750cc sidevalve (unlimited displacement in TT).
bulletSeventies Singles: Post-vintage-era 500cc and smaller four-stroke machines such as competed in the late 1970s.
bulletSeventies Singles +50: To encourage our 50 and over riders to try Seventies Singles dirt track racing, AHRMA's Dirt Track Committee and Board added a  +50 Seventies Singles class. The class is open to riders age 50 or older on any Seventies Singles or Seventies Two-Stroke eligible machine.  The class will run at national and regional dirt track and TT events beginning with the 2008 race season.
bulletSeventies Two-Stroke: 1981 and earlier air-cooled two-strokes up to 250cc.
bulletSuper Senior: Riders over 60 years of age on any Sportsman-eligible machines.
bulletSenior: Riders over 50 years of age on any Sportsman-eligible machine.
bulletNovice: A non-championship class run at selected events for entry-level riders on any Sportsman-eligible machine.
