Capt Wazoo (44Q)-- wazoo@digital-cafe.com I am struggling to create TEAM SC. At present, the first fully restored, race ready SC 500 in my stable of two is being displayed in the front window of my local snowboard shop, ROUND ZERO (208)265-6714. It is NOT for sale! TEAM SC is dedicated to the preservation and operation of 1973 & '74 YAMAHA SC 500s. TEAM SC is homebased in Sandpoint, Idaho. A newsletter will be forhcoming in '97. Send E-mail to get onboard! The intention is to network SC 500 owners to help with parts acquisition and tech info. Getting folks together for a putt is cool, too! Since this is such a great idea, why would I be struggling to get going? Because I wear a helmet camera and ride a snowboard producing snowboard vi deos. Ask your local shop for "1Z-2Z" 2 snowboard videos in 1! It takes all my time!

AHRMA official Allen Wenzel -- wenzelal@aol.com -- AHRMA West Trustee, race promoter & longtime AHRMA volunteer. I'm also a lousy Trials, Motocross and Dirttrack rider, but an excellent beer drinker! Location: California

West Coast Racing -- Brid Caveney-- bridiom@aol.com Owner, Vintage Motorcycle Supplies, in Salinas California. I am a rabid vintage enthusiast!!! Ex-AHRMA National Trials Champion, with my Triumph Cub   Featured Machines - Page 1  3rd in 2001 Sportsman 500 Road Race Championship with my "Torque monster" BSA B50  Featured Machines - Page 32004 Classic 60's 650 National Champion,  and looking to the future with my latest venture, the BSA B50 World Challenge West Coast Racing  Please visit my home site to see my Isle Of Man story and lots more  http://www.westcoastracing.net Tel/Fax 831-663-1099

Kevin White -- kev900sp@att.net -- I joined AHRMA last year after buying a very ratty Husky 250WR which I quickly over spent on. One thing lead to another and before I knew it the Collection had grown to include a 74 Husky 250 mag (very fast and lots of fun), a 74 Husky 400 WR (very heavy and fun), a 76 Montesa 348 Cota (very slow and fun) and my Ducati street bike (just plain fun).  I hope to resume my less than illustrious career in moto-cross this fall after a well deserved 20 year break.  If any one wants to trade a 74 250/360 YZ in any shape for an over restored Husky 250 WR let me know.  9/04

Lou Whitney -- louwhitney@aol.com I'm 61 years old, and started racing MX at 55 when I retired. I've been promoting MX races throughout the U.S., plus run the Orlando MX park. Race vintage MX whenever I get the chance. Currently restoring a 72 Suzuki 400 Cyclone (ugh!!)

Bill Wiggins -- bwiggins@zebra.net -- I live in Eufaula, Alabama. I just joined the AHRMA about two months ago. I accidentally found a 1972 Husqvarna 250CR that had been sitting in a garage for 28 years. Having a great time putting it back original. One thing has led to another and I just got another old Husky last week. A 1973 400CR. Haven't raced since 1977. Gonna give it a shot in a few weeks at Tallassee, Al.

Randy Wilder -
rwphoto@redshift.com - I'm a typical ex-racer from the 70's, now doing the AHRMA thing...and having
a blast! My number is 18y. I'm home based in Salinas, Calif.

Terry Wilkison -- VWman44761@aol.com Hey! I'm 17 and just joined AHRMA this winter and am looking forward to racing in Sportsman 250 this year. I bought a 1974 OSSA Phantom 250 last fall and have done some practicing so far. Guess that makes me the youngest kid trying to ride this savage beast! I always enjoy talking to other OSSA owners about experiences and so forth. I've grown up around vintage bikes all my life. We also have a couple other vintage bikes parked around the garage. 1964 BSA Cyclone Competition (excellent condition, complete original) 1975 Honda XL 125 (excellent condition, For Sale) 1967 Honda CB 450, and a 1982 Suzuki SP500. Drop me a line! I have one statement though. It is in regards to a letter published in Vintage Views (January 1998) by Rick Bley. In this letter Mr. Bley stated his opinion that he believed that they should not create a Youth MX Class in AHRMA. He stated several reasons for this opinion. Such as it would require extra practice sessions and so forth he also stated that he believed that 12-15 year olds do not posse the maturity required to be active in AHRMA. I think AHRMA is a great organization with a bright future ahead of it. But I ask one thing "What is the Future of this organization?" The answer is "The youth". By discouraging the youth from entering you are basically going to destroy the organization in a matter of years. Location: Indiana

Chuck Williamson -- chwilli@cox.net -- 2006 will be my first season racing "Vintage" having grown tired of the modern tracks. (They can cause serious pain!) Purchased a '73 CZ 400 on eBay and with the help of Charlie Richardson and Lee Holth I am ready to start having safe and sane racing fun again. I am located in Mission Viejo, California and hope to attend as many Nationals this year that I can reasonably drive to.

Dan Wilson -- wilsonswinners@adelphia.net --I'm from Colorado Springs, CO.  Like many others, I went to several Steamboat events before it occurred to me that I could be doing, and not just watching.  I put together a Yamaha 650 as a Open Twin class entry and have had way too much fun in that class and in the over 50 class as well.  I'm currently finishing up my Ducati 250 for the Premier Lightweight class for 99. I raced this bike at Steamboat in 97 while it was still in the Bultaco chassis. The 650 is still ready to go, and I look forward to the next season with the rest of the great guys in the Vintage Motorcycle Club of the Rockies. Will be running +60 next year.  I can be reached at jbrwky59@hotmail.com or wilsonswinners@adelphia.net

( www.ahrma.org/midwest ) This whole AHRMA thing is a sickness and the first step is admitting it. Location: Illinois.  9/04

AHRMA official Ron Winget -- RonWinget@Bellsouth.net -- I am a life-long motorcycling enthusiast, interested in all aspects of the sport, but most recently bitten by the AHRMA bug.  I collect Maico's and BSA's, and compete in trials, motocross, hare scrambles, and an occasional dirt track.  I get a big kick out of being around vintage motorcycles and rubbing elbows (or handlebars) with the people who race them.  I am determined to do all I can to get vintage motorcycles onto race tracks and smiles on those who ride them.  Long live AHRMA and old bikes!!!  Location: Florida

Jerry Wohlgemuth -- jwohlgemuth@ohlinsusa.com or  info@ohlinsusa.com Öhlins Racing was established in 1976, and just two years later the company won its first World Championship title. During those early years, Öhlins were largely concerned with motocross and enduro racing, providing both manufacturers and the after-sales market with quality shock absorbers. Successive wins on the track, however, soon attracted major interest from high performance riders... and the story goes on, from strength to strength. Öhlins policy of total commitment at the highest levels of motor racing has proved successful, and winning on the track has also led to first place in the eyes of everyday consumers. http://www.ohlinsusa.com/
