Best seats in
the house for the Daytona 200–Bike Week 2010
We have been invited again to join the Pro Road race folks
at the Daytona 200 to volunteer our time as tire marshals.
There will be rotating teams this year and plenty of time
to see some cool road racing. It’s a real cool job in the
Road Racing pits and like last year, we get to see the
fastest bikes on 2 wheels.
If you would
like to volunteer and get a 3 day credential, infield
parking, lunch along with a cool marshal “T” contact Alex
Moroz at
moroz50a@hotmail.com (cell 315 415 6478) no later than
Feb 25th as there are a limited number of spots
for the 3 days
(Wed ~ March 3rd, Thursday ~ March 4th and Friday
~ March 5th).

The
2010 election results are in
from our independent accounting firm! Congratulations are
due to our newly elected trustees for 2010. In the east,
Fred Guidi and Bob Goodpaster
received the most votes,
while Kelly Shane and Fred Mork
will be representing our western members.
In accordance with our bylaws, these trustees will take
office at the first membership/board meeting of the year,
scheduled for Monday, April 26th, following our National RR
weekend at Willow Springs, CA.
As Dick Mann and Jeff Smith
leave the board we note that they have served AHRMA "above
and beyond" over our history, making the association what it
is today. We trust that they will long remain associated and
contributing to AHRMA - they richly deserve our thanks and
support for the past and for whatever the future holds.

Flat Trackers—Godspeed
Ed Fatzinger Sr.
1 Day
ago— Just to let everyone know, my father
passed away this morning after losing a battle with
cancer. It was pretty advanced when he was diagnosed
in May '09. As some of you know he was very
passionate about flattrack racing being a rider,
sponsor, and bike owner. We will be having a
celebration of life get-together "tentively" next
weekend at the Lehigh Township firehall in
Pennsylvania. I will post a cofirm date and location
when I get it.
Thanks to all,
Ed Jr.
