The 1980 Honda CR250R was the last air-cooled CR250 model produced. It was similar to the popular '78/79 CR250R models with the exception of the double-cradle frame and center port cylinder. The 1980 CR250R was one of the first products assembled in Honda's Marysville, Ohio, plant. The plastic fenders, sidepanels, tank and seat were U.S. made.

The bike has been modified with Fox Factory aluminum swingarm, Fox Ffrks, Works Performance shocks, factory option flat-track cylinder, Jemco pipe, Horvat aluminum works silencer, Excel rims, Buchanan spokes, Renthal bars, Magura levers, Terrycables and Regina chain.
