I recently finished the restoration of a 1978 390-OR Husqvarna that I bought new from Gene Ritchie at Red Bud in Michigan. The motor was blueprinted before it left Gene’s shop, and it still runs excellent today with a first-over Wiseco piston. It still has the original clutch, the tank is untouched and the seat cover remains but needs to be replaced. I used it early in life to ride national enduroes, and now it serves as my PV cross country bike. The original Curnutt shocks are a really soft ride and do well in CC events.
