Both bikes are self-restored, including polishing, except for motor work and powder coating.

The Yamaha has a bone-stock motor with a bead-blasted head, polished swingarm, Embee powder-coated frame, Vintage Iron tank graphics, Jake's Garage numbers, Dunlop 756 rear tire and Luft rear shock reservoir.

The Maico has an Eric Cook-Maico Only balanced crank, Maico Only down pipe, 36mm Mikuni round-slide carb, PVL ignition, Works Performance rear shocks, Progressive Suspension front springs, Pro Taper bars, Magura controls, Michelin tires, Embee powder-coat frame, polished tank sides and powder-coated top and bottom tank paint, and Northwest Maico plastics.
