| I drove 16 hours round trip, non-stop to get this '73 Penton from Hickory, North Carolina. I had no idea how I was going to fix it up until I contacted Holeshot Racing in Akron, Ohio. They put me in touch with Al Buehner in Cleveland who is one of the most knowledgable Penton authorites in the USA. He also has Penton parts. With the help of Alan, Mike Mefford (another Penton expert in Illinois) and 9 months of hard work, I was able to put this vintage motocross bike back to showroom condition. John Penton signed the gas tank at Mid-Ohio this year. I hope to race it next year at Mid-Ohio. Thanks to AHRMA for their help realizing my dream.
