Donner Summit Trial canceled

The two-day AHRMA/Speed & Sport National Vintage Trials Series event at the Auburn Ski Club Training Center in Soda Springs, CA has been canceled. A late-July date had been planned, but as of July 1, there is still snow on the ground at the facility. The area received┬áhistoric levels of snowfall this past Winter, and the storms resulted in┬ánumerous broken and downed trees. Additionally, planned construction work would limit accessibility to many areas of the property. This year’s event will not be rescheduled or relocated, but will be back in 2018.

Man, California is either famine or feast when it comes to snow pack. Well at least your drought is over, (it is over, right?).
