I would say less vmx and pvmx races. Some events are only pulling 50 entries. Let’s focus on a handful of national events and make the rest regionals.
The lack of detail in these minutes is most distressing. It does not show a lot of transparency in what goes on at these meetings.
“Discussion ensued regarding holding a Board meeting in a teleconference format. This idea was ultimately shelved due to the expense (not enough savings), the lack of quality technology, and the fact that members would not be able to attend.”
Guys & Gal:
It’s not teleconferencing you should be looking at, but rather Internet Conferencing. And there is NO lack of technology in that area. Do all the Trustees have computers now? Do you all have high speed internet? If so you can do it and it could be set up so members can listen in and then also join in for the open member sessions.
