Have decided to sell my race bike. I had it built specifically to race in Twins classes and Formula 40 in the MRA (Colorado) in2022 after laying off the past couple of years, but I had hand surgery, then blood clots in my leg from a previous accident, and then creeping age caught up in the form of arthritic knees which can’t be fixed. I tried like hell to rekindle my enthusiasm and went to the MRA Race School and YCRS, but I just don’t have the gumption to do it anymore.
But I have this great bike, a 2016 Ducati 959 with only 1550 actual miles. It has never been down. Hell, it is barely broken in. It has a long list of goodies, not the least of which is a set of BTS Carbon wheels I got from Scott Rybarik. I also have the stock wheels which came with the bike and are a nice to have for rain tires. I’ll include the Pit Bull stands as part of the deal.

I have well over $22K invested, the bike was built to be competitive. I am asking $13,500 which I feel is more than reasonable given the low miles, the pristine condition of the bike, and the performance tuning. A new set of BST Carbon wheels would set you back $4k or so. The Ohlins front fork inserts are in the $2500 range.

See photos. There is a small dent on exhaust pipe, the Termi system was pre-owned. There are a couple of scratches on the swingarm that occurred while loading the bike on a rented trailer.
