AAR Sidecar Racing School (SRS)

Sidecar Racing SchoolLooking for a racing experience way outside of normal? Prepare yourself for the unique shared experience of Sidecar Racing through the AHRMA Academy of Roadracing (AAR) Sidecar Racing School (SRS). The SRS is North America’s premier and currently the only school for sidecar racing!

The SRS was developed with “safety” in mind. The Pilot and Co-Pilot will learn through discussion and on track sessions from our Sidecar Mentors the techniques/dynamics of Sidecar Racing. You will get to experience a “Mock Start” at the end of the school day (typically Friday) so that you will know what to expect from race starts.

You must successfully complete the AAR Sidecar Racing School (SRS) to be eligible to race the weekend. Fees for Race Registration ARE NOT INCLUDED in the SRS fees.

Important Information:

Sidecar racing is a TEAM SPORT. It is mandatory that you come as a team for the race weekend.

If a Co-Pilot or Pilot is already licensed by SRS, that person does not have to do classroom session but must be ready to go out for track session and stay together for the race weekend. The person that only attends track time will need to pay for Friday practice.

Until you have had two successful race weekends across 2 venues you will need to wear your school shirt or safety vest. This applies to both people on the rig so others note that one or both people are new to sidecars.

Race Registration

Racing fees are IN ADDITION TO any Sidecar Racing School fees. Your AHRMA Sidecar Racing School cost DOES NOT include race registration for the weekend.
