This bike has been in the family for 30 years. I kept it as an extra bike even as I got old and bought Cruisers. When my friend comes from Europe I let him ride it. The bike has been nothing but reliable. It has NEVER gone down (when riding). It fell over in an enclosed trailer once on our way to Laconia because of an accident that occurred in front of us. The bike only has 19K miles. That’s an average of 620 miles a year. (that’s actually a shame) It sat for 3 years as I moved state to state. This year I did a lot of maintenance to her. Had the tank cleaned (no rust) had all the bushings and gaskets changed, carbs rebuilt, and a whole bunch more. just maintenance. Nothing is wrong. I put about $400 a year of maintenance into her, like tires or sprocket, brakes, etc. She rides true and straight and still has impressive power.
