Get ready for the second annual AHRMA Motocross of Regions Challenge, returning in 2025 to the renowned Barber Motorsports Motocross Track!

We’re excited to see whether the South-Central Region—winners of both the VMX and PVMX team awards in 2024—can defend their titles, or if another regional team will rise to the top and claim victory.

Competition Format & Rules

Scoring & Determination of Winner:

  • Olympic scoring will be used to determine the winning regional team for both VMX and PVMX.
  • If there’s a tie, the team with the highest collective age wins.

Rider & Team Eligibility:

  • Riders must:
    • Reside in the region they represent
    • Be a full AHRMA member (weekend memberships not eligible)
    • Have attended at least 1 regional event
      • Exception: Requirement is waived if the rider lives more than 300 miles from the nearest regional event
  • Each Region may field:
    • One 4-Rider VMX Team of Experts (Intermediate riders may be included if needed)
    • One 4-Rider PVMX Team of Experts (Intermediate riders may be included if needed)
    • You may use the same 4-Rider team per race or switch out as desired
    • Minimum combined age per team: 160 years
  • Machine eligibility:
    • VMX Teams compete on vintage-eligible machines
    • PVMX Teams must compete on post-vintage eligible machines. No Next Generation bikes are eligible.
  • Race Format:
    • Each team’s best 3 finishes will count toward the team’s score
    • A single VMX moto on Saturday and PVMX moto on Sunday—both held after the day’s regular racing

If 9 Regions field a 4-man team, there will be 36 riders at the gate.

The number of Laps (4-5) will be determined each day based on the time available.

The entry fee per team is $100.
