Maggie Shane, 2027 AHRMA Trustee Candidate – West.

I have been involved with AHRMA since 1994 and have volunteered for many years in the Northwest Region. My experience includes managing sign-up, registration, scoring motocross and cross-country races, plus checking Trials events. Through these roles, I have gained a strong appreciation for the dedication of our volunteers and the importance of providing a fair, well-organized, and enjoyable experience for our members.

Over the past several years, I have also worked closely with several AHRMA Executive Directors to streamline and modernize our accounting systems to ensure compliance with applicable state and federal regulations. As part of the financial review team with the AHRMA account manager, we continue to meet weekly to review the accounting, maintain accurate financial records, and support sound business practices.

AHRMA is owned by its members and operated as a not-for-profit corporation. It offers something truly unique: the opportunity for riders across the country to compete in off-road, flat track, and road racing events, each with classes suited to their machines and skill levels, supported by fair and consistent rules.

If elected as a Western Trustee, my goal will be to represent our members, support transparent management and assist in streamlining our procedures to improve the member experience. Always focusing on AHRMA’s primary purpose: Dedication to enhancing and preserving the sport of historic and vintage motorcycle racing.
