1969 Yamaha TR2 350 cc production racer. Imported from Italy in 2023. Had an electronic ignition installed by Jeff Henise. He recommended that I buy a set of pistons and rings which I did. I listed it on BringaTrailer, and after the auction I was informed that the engine number stamped on the case is from an R3. So… The top end, and possibly the bottom end internals are TR2, but the cases are from an R3. I spoke with Teddy Boyko and he is willing to redo the engine, and I may go that direction just so it will be perfect. Before I do though, I thought I might sell it as is for less money than I would if I paid for the rebuild. We started the bike at Jeff’s home in San Francisco at about 10PM, but it was uncomfortably loud so I didn’t ride it around. It comes with pistons, rings, clutch disks and the original ignition. Tired have lots of rubber, but are aged out, I’m sure. I am interested in a trade. I like vintage cars, some vintage street bikes, but am open to whatever. Give me a text or call
This is an extremely cool motorcycle and should be raced.
