That would be just fine Jim and I’ll post it.
Ok Randy who’s the wrong person and who is the right person? Or do I just send my ballot to you for you to fill out and send in?
I’ll give a direct quote form the meeting.
Conner: “Debbie is guilty by association (by virtue of being his wife) that Rob has seen the
votes. I’m pissed-off that someone could’ve seen who I voted for – it’s a secret ballot.”
Anderson replied, “We felt there was not a problem with examining the ballots, but that Carl
strongly recommended that Rob return the ballots to D. Lamberth unopened and that Rob
was doing this on his own.”
Jim don’t vote for the wrong person, then it won’t be so upsetting for you… This is just racing and enjoying our Love for Vintage Motorcycles and the people who keep this sport alive…
I’ll comment…. How can elected official (Rob Poole) can secure all OUR BALLOTS, and inspect and see how WE ALL VOTED! Read the minutes, so much for a secure ballot!!!!!
From the bylaws, Article V, SECTION 4. “Secretary: The Secretary shall sign all official documents of the Association, keep minutes of all Board of Trustee and membership meetings, conduct elections for Trustees and officers…” Is it possible this applies?
To conduct an election is to facilitate the process. The process is facilitated by assigning duties such as distributing ballots, providing an alternative to the official ballot in the form of a form available on the web site, and assigning a non-affiliated third party to collect, certify, and count the ballots received in accordance to the contract(s) agreed to by AHRMA and the third party, typically a CPA firm. For purposes regarding the election of Board Trustees, AHRMA has contracted with Allard Jackson, CPA. The is nothing in the ByLaws granting ANY official or member of AHRMA access to ballots presented in the election of Board Trustees.
It’s kind of hard to believe no comments have been left here.
Congratulations — you’re the first! 🙂
