Greetings to all racers coming to visit the Atlanta Motorcycle Club at Aonia Pass 30 & 31 May

As you already know this is one of the first post quarantine national events on the east coast. Although things are starting to go back to normal we all must remain vigilant with our protection measures. Fortunately for us we are following a GNCC at Aonia that had almost 1800 riders. Some of our members had the opportunity to attend as spectators to learn from the experts in hosting national events in the current environment. The GNCC went smooth even with some very stringent COVID19 protections.  The crowd was aware and compliant to all anti-viral rules.

We strongly encourage all riders to sign-up for their selected events online. AHRMA is holding the online sign-up open longer so you have time. Please use this opportunity to save on race fees and do your part toward social distancing.  You may sign up here: ahrma.motorsportreg.com.  If you run into issues, please contact AHRMA’s Off-Road Director, Tony Paul, at offroad.director@ahrma.org or 256.665.1279 for assistance.

When you arrive at Aonia Pass you see signs asking you to keep your face covered at all times. Please do!

Social distancing is proven as one of the most effect ways to protect against the COVID19 virus. Please do!

Frequent hand washing is another proven method of protection against the COVID-19 virus. Regular soap and water works. Aonia has new bathroom facilities with running water. Please wash your hands frequently.

Trails riders will be scored using a method that near completely eliminates face-to-face interaction. Plan ahead as this could take a slight bit more time, be flexible, calm and have fun. We are using some of the same trails as the previous GNCC so this regional cross country will be a little longer than usual and more fun! The motocross is a GP style course of approximately 1-mile of mostly natural terrain. You will have the opportunity to stretch your legs on this one! The Short Track is commonly known as the best dirt in the south. You will not be disappointed.

We have water and electric hook-ups for those of you who have a camper. Rustic camping is also available with level areas with soft mowed grass. We have newly remodeled bathrooms with showers. Aonia Pass is five miles from downtown Washington, Georgia where you can get everything from McDonalds to fresh made ice cream.

Come join us for the AHRMA National Vintage, Post Vintage and Next Gen MX, Dirt Track ST and TT, Trials and Regional Cross Country events.

Yours Truly,
Atlanta Motorcycle Club
