Outline

  • The program is co-marketed, co-branded and co-supported with Motobilia.
  • The membership coordinator (membership@ahrma.org) is responsible for managing the program.
  • The term of the referral program is a calendar year as well as calendar month.

Eligibility

  • Only new full competition members are valid referrals (new to ahrma.motosportreg.com).
  • New competition members may be referred by AHRMA members who have a current or expired membership (full, associate or weekend).
  • AHRMA Trustees and AHRMA compensated staff are exempt from the program.

Data collection

  • New members, defined as no history in MSR (ahrma.motorsportreg.com), should include the referring member’s name when signing up for competition membership.  The new member or referring member can report the referral after the fact to the membership coordinator (membership@ahrma.org).
  • Only one member can be given credit for referring a new member.  (If the new member lists multiple names, the membership coordinator will ask the new member for a primary name.)
  • The membership coordinator will run a report each month showing referral information for previous month’s new memberships.
  • At the beginning of each new year, the membership coordinator will tally all the referrals for the previous year to determine who referred the most new competition members.

Recognition

  • Each AHRMA member who refers a new competition member in the previous month will receive an AHRMA $25 credit in MSR per new member to be used only for full membership renewal.
  • Each AHRMA member who refers 2 or more new competition members in the previous month will receive a “Motobilia AHRMA Motorcycle Racing Advocate of the Month” t-shirt.
  • The member who refers the most new competition members in a calendar year will receive a Motobilia AHRMA Motorcycle Racing Advocate jacket.
  • Referring members will be listed in The AHRMA MAG each month. The list will be year to date and include:
    • Referring member names
    • The months the referral occurred
    • Number of new members referred
  • The program is retroactive to Jan 1 2025. Recognition will be sent based on the report in MSR.
