AHRMA is looking for an Off-Road Race Director to operate its successful national off-road racing series which includes Vintage / Post Vintage / Next Gen MX, Cross Country and Observed Trials. This position is that of Program Manager, coordinating these series and working with regional coordinators to ensure individual event planning and management is properly handled.

The schedule for the 2022 season has already been set and is visible at www.ahrma.org/schedules-results.  A project manager who is able to keep our series running smoothly during 2022 and beyond is what we seek. The successful candidate will be passionate about our sport, driven for success, and able to enlist our team to peak performance.

This position is a part time role, requiring 20+ hours per week and it can be performed remotely from anywhere in the USA.  Travel is required for 6-8 national events each year, and others that may be local to the successful candidate.  Salary is competitive for this role in a part time capacity and will be commensurate with experience.

The Off-Road Race Director reports to AHRMA’s Executive Director. There are regular planning meetings with the Executive Director to define strategy and work streams, as well as occasional Executive Committee meetings for additional support.  Coordination with other AHRMA disciplines will be frequent and teamwork is a key trait we seek. Familiarity with off-road motorcycle competition, excellent communication skills, detail orientation, contract negotiation, internal administration, and a high level of computer literacy are required. AHRMA regularly uses online tools (Google Meet and others) for video meetings, MotorsportReg.com for membership management / race registrations, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
