Santa & Mrs. Claus (Dan and Jennifer

We are Dan and Jennifer Thornton (aka Santa & Mrs. Claus). We have been involved with motorcycles and motorcycle road racing since we met in 1986. A few months after we began dating, Dan sat Jennifer down and asked her to watch the 1986 Daytona 200. He said things were going well and he liked her. However, it would not be enough for her to tolerate the sport and the industry, she had to embrace it. Here we are 35 years later!

Dan’s involvement in motorcycles started in 1975 as a shop mechanic. In 1976 Dan hooked up with Ed Bargy and went to his first race with ERA. The passion never left. Dan has spent over 45 years in the motorcycle industry. Most recently as a buyer at Parts Unlimited for the past 20 years until his retirement in 2019. Now Dan spends his time restoring and replicating AMA factory race bikes from the late 70’s through early 90’s.

Prior to starting their family Jennifer was a National Sales Trainer for a Fortune 500 Company in the mid to late 80’s. Jennifer has had a passion for working with individuals who have unique needs since her late teens. Currently, she provides in home parenting support/training and guidance for parents with children who have unique needs.

Our journey with AHRMA started with working credentials at the 2020 race at Blackhawk Farms. We are excited to take on this new endeavor and meet more of the AHRMA members.
