Andrew Stroud will serve as Grand Marshal at the October 8-11 Barber Vintage Festival in Leeds, AL. The Kiwi’s visit to the US coincides with a gathering of Britten motorcycles scheduled to take place at Barber Motorsports Park. Britten machinery — both early editions and several V-1000s — will be on display in the roadrace paddock during the weekend, and demonstration laps are slated for lunchtime Saturday and Sunday. Friday night’s An Evening with Britten will honor the late John Britten and his work; members of his family will be in attendance.
Accomplishments on Stroud’s lengthy resume include four Battle of the Twins victories at Daytona International Speedway and a title in the inaugural BEARS World Championship Series, all aboard the New Zealand-built V-twin.
