Dear AHRMA Members,
After serving as a Trustee since 2023, I am proud of being a part of the path AHRMA has taken as an organization to become better and stronger throughout the disciplines.
Many challenges have been dealt with and will continue regarding insurance, rising costs, and other things which will all require our Board of Trustees and Executive Committee, members, and other committees to address to keep our organization operating and to stay ahead of the challenges.
I organized and am the active Co-Chairman of the Safety Committee which meets monthly and is active at events when safety issues arise. Many significant improvements have come from that committee in rider and event safety including our safety light system and deployment of Air Fence and soft barriers when needed.
I also serve on several other committees and will continue to help in any way I can both in meetings and on site at events. As we all know there is a whole lot that goes on before the green flag waves and when the gates get locked on Sunday.
I feel a diverse BOT makeup between Road Race, Off-Road, and a few that compete in both offers each member’s knowledge in making decisions and keeps us moving forward as an organization.
I still believe in my favorite saying I saw years ago at a customer’s entrance which reads: “You can’t build a reputation on what you are going to do.”
I hope to have your consideration to vote for me to continue as an Eastern Region Trustee.
