Dear AHRMA Members,
Even if you think you are out of the hunt, think again—the motocross championship picture changes at Barber
Due to an unprecedented number of weather-related cancellations this season, the AHRMA Off-Road Planning Committee has unanimously approved a one-time adjustment making the Barber Vintage Festival a double-points event for National Motocross only. This ensures all riders have a fair opportunity to qualify and compete for the 2026 National Championship.
What This Means for Barber (National Motocross Only)
- Double Qualification Credit: Participation counts as two qualifying National Motocross events.
- Double Championship Points: All points earned at the event will be doubled.
- No Schedule Changes: The event remains a single race weekend with no additional motos, classes, or schedule modifications. For example, if you have completed two qualifying events before Barber, competing there will bring your total to four.
Please note: This adjustment applies strictly to the National Motocross discipline. All other disciplines competing at Barber will follow their standard points structure.
